This week, we sat down with Jarno, a former Stone & Bridges’ Customer Service Agent who's just left us for a permanent management position at one of our clients, Dr Smile. We love seeing our agents becoming the best they can be. And as we say farewell to Jarno, we took this opportunity to ask him a few questions about his time at Stone & Bridges. Here’s what he had to say.


Why did you choose to apply to S&B?

Because the company works with a lot of premium lifestyle companies, which is very appealing to me.


Can you describe your first day, week, month?

It was a very welcoming start working together with Anouk and Lynn. They guided me incredibly well and they really stand behind their employees, even when working remotely or on location with a client.


What has working at S&B taught you?

It has taught me the complete customer service game. I come from a sales background and whilst I knew the importance of a good CS team, this experience at S&B has given me an incredible insight. It’s made me realize that a good customer service team is the cornerstone of a company's success.


What makes S&B different from other places you've worked?

To be able to work simultaneously at two companies at the same time. This was a unique experience and I enjoyed the challenge of learning each company’s systems, working practices and cultures. Also, the opportunity to work remotely was a huge plus for me, as hybrid working gave me freedom to do my work where I work best.


What attracted you to S&B?

The brilliant brand portfolio. I don’t know of any other company that has such a wide variety of clients. This makes every day different. And that is something I will definitely miss.


How did S&B allow you to grow?

I’ve had three promotions at the company that hired me after I completed my period with them at Stone & Bridges. Anouk and Lynn select the right person for the right clients. And they checked in with me on a weekly basis. This support is something I’ve never experienced before and I’m grateful for the opportunities S&B has given me.


When you received the offer for a full time management position at Dr Smile, how did you feel?

I was super happy and also very thankful towards both companies for this opportunity. Of course I will miss the team at S&B. But the personal and professional development I’ve experienced is something I will take with me throughout my career.


Can you describe your top 5 things about S&B?

First, the team is incredible to work with. Anouk, Lynn, and the rest of the team are supportive and accessible. Second, the focus on quality always coming first is a mantra I will carry with me to every new opportunity. Also there is always great guidance, flexible working if needed, and great office parties!


What surprised you the most about working with S&B?

It opened up my eyes to the world of Customer Service. I learned that there is so much more to supporting customers than just answering their questions. It’s about connecting with customers and always being one step ahead of what they want, need or think.


What will you miss most from S&B?

I will definitely miss Anouk, Lynn & the rest of the team. And, of course, the office parties!


What advice do you have for anyone thinking of applying to work at S&B?

Do it! Apply today. You will learn a lot by working with incredible companies and lovely people that will guide you, sharing their knowledge of how to provide the best customer service.
